Skogafoss

I stood there longer than I expected.

The waterfall moved with complete certainty, uninterrupted and indifferent to my presence. There was nothing to interpret, nothing to hold onto only the quiet understanding that strength doesn’t announce itself. It endures.

I left with less than I arrived with, and that felt like the point.
